One reason that so many brides are turning to beach side nuptials is because they wish to have a small and intimate ceremony. A Simple beach wedding can be planned with very short notice and it allows you to have a dream wedding on a shoe string budget. Here are a few tips to keeping your simple beach wedding costs to a minimum!
1. Skip the expensive wedding shoes! In true simple beach wedding tradition you can choose to go barefoot or some simple beach flip flops. For an extra elegant touch make sure to dress up your feet! Beautiful anklets and toe rings make an elegant touch as well as professionally pedicured toes. Or you can get a henna tattoo the day of the wedding for a truly unique touch.
2. You’re simple beach wedding can be as extravagant or as minimal as you want it. If you’re on a tight budget you may want to consider having a smaller wedding. A beach wedding can be as simple as you, your groom, two witnesses and someone to marry you. If you are planning a beach wedding chances are you want the ambiance to match. Beach weddings are fun, carefree, and typically casual events. Here are some ideas and tips to consider when beach wedding planning for the music, food, and wedding favors.
In a traditional wedding, typically organ music would assist the bride and attendants down the aisle. But when beach wedding planning, this is not very practical, and it would also take away from the casual beach ambiance. My favorite beach music is from steel drum bands. Whether live or pre recorded, these reagea tunes will give you optimum beach ambiance. This is especially popular for tropical beach weddings. A big consideration while you are beach wedding planning is to take into account the bugs and pests at your venue. California is a wonderful location because we don’t have many bugs near the beach, however if your heart is set on Florida or another tropical destination you must beware. To avoid infestation of bugs and other pests at your ceremony it is a good idea to make sure your wedding takes place during the dry season.
