When beach wedding planning there are a lot of special obstacles to consider.  However, with a few preparations you will be assured that your gorgeous beach wedding will go off without a hitch.  Here are a few more tips and tricks and some advice to make the best out of your beach wedding.

A big consideration while you are beach wedding planning is to take into account the bugs and pests at your venue.  California is a wonderful location because we don’t have many bugs near the beach, however if your heart is set on Florida or another tropical destination you must beware.  To avoid infestation of bugs and other pests at your ceremony it is a good idea to make sure your wedding takes place during the dry season.  Winter and spring would be the optimal times to host your tropical wedding, however summer should be avoided at all costs. Beach Wedding Planning: Part 2 – The Weather

Beach wedding planning is very unpredictable.  The weather can change dramatically with very little warning.  Therefore when you are planning six months ahead of time, make sure you prepare for the lighting and weather obstacles a wedding at the beach would comprise of.

Weather is the biggest consideration when beach wedding planning.  The actual weather you cannot control, but by making some adjustments you may have better odds.  Once you have picked your venue you must set your wedding date.  If you are planning a beach wedding in California your best bet would be during the summer, however if your dream wedding venue is in Florida you may want to opt for the winter or spring.  You will want to do some research and find out what is your locations dry season and plan accordingly.  (more…)

Beach Wedding Planning: Part 1 – The Ceremony

For some, getting to marry on a beach is the fairytale wedding they have been dreaming of.  If you fall into this category, there is a certain amount of planning you must be prepared for.  Beach wedding planning does not require more time than planning for a venue, say, in a hotel ballroom.  In some cases it may take less time to plan, however there are certain preparations you must be aware of. 

First you must address the wedding guests.  Guests have the special privilege of watching a wedding with a gorgeous beach back drop which is very much a treat.  However, there special challenges when you are beach wedding planning.  For example guests with wheelchairs will be restricted to their access, something to consider before booking a venue.  Some guests may have a hard time walking in the sand; therefore you may want to have your attendants available to help seat guests comfortably.
